Antoine is a very distinguished performer on early oboe (principal in the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra) and teaches at the Regional Conservatorium in Paris. He has made a small pedagogical website, principally for his pupils, but also for everyone interested in early oboe studies. A fantastic resource! One can find sheet music in facsimile to download, and some useful links about early oboe.
About five years ago, Carl Burmeister devised a system of database tables to record information about existing instruments. Some measurements by Mary Kirkpatrick, Paul Hailperin and others have already been entered and posted on Carl's hautbois.net site. This could be a fantastic resource if someone wanted to take on the project, collect and enter instrument data, and bring the database up to date.
